Cumberland Deposits $210 Million BTC to Coinbase
Cryptocurrency market-making firm Cumberland deposited 2,088 BTC ($190 million) to Coinbase two hours ago and then added another 173 BTC ($16.05 million) approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes later, according to The Data Nerd.
Analysis: "Clear Decline in Exchange BTC Holdings... Influenced by Listed Companies' Purchases"
Fidelity Digital Assets stated on X that "as companies increase BTC purchases, exchange BTC holdings are clearly decreasing. This phenomenon is expected to accelerate." They further explained that "exchange balances are currently at 2.6 million BTC, the lowest level since November 2018. Since November last year, 425,000 BTC has been withdrawn from exchanges. After the US election, listed companies purchased approximately 350,000 BTC. These companies are currently purchasing an average of 30,000 BTC monthly through 2025."
Bloomberg Analyst: "Spot ETF is Literally Consuming BTC"
