RealVision CEO Raoul Pal announced that the cryptocurrency market has entered a phase of explosive growth called the 'Banana Zone'. XRP is also expected to benefit ahead of the market peak in 2025.
Raoul Pal explained that the crypto market has entered the 'Banana Zone' showing the most explosive rise. He analyzed that this period usually lasts 12-18 months and started from September 2024.
Afterward, the market showed a significant rally and experienced adjustments, which is a normal phenomenon in the cryptocurrency cycle. As market liquidity increases again, the upward speed is expected to accelerate towards the end of 2025.
Raoul Pal revealed plans to sell most of his cryptocurrency holdings, including XRP and Bitcoin, by the end of 2025. Based on past cycles and liquidity patterns, he predicted the market would peak in the latter half of 2025.
He emphasized, "This is the biggest macro trade of our lifetime" and "Cryptocurrency can grow from a $3 trillion asset class to $100 trillion within 10 years. It has only risen 3% so far".
Meanwhile, the XRP price dropped as the settlement between Ripple and SEC was rejected by the court. The proposed settlement would have reduced Ripple's fine from $150 million to $50 million, but the judge pointed out issues with the submission method. As a result, XRP fell below the key support level of $2.41, and without positive news, it could decline to $2.34 or $2.26.
If Ripple resubmits the request in an appropriate manner, the XRP price could recover, but it is currently being interpreted as a bearish signal.
