So something I have been thinking about more and more lately is just how powerful it is to apply the quality over quantity mantra to basically every area of life.

If you’ve been paying attention to my crypto portfolio journey over the last 1-2 years, you’ll know that I have been applying it there — continually trying to cut down on my number of holdings, and stick only to my highest conviction positions.

It has absolutely worked wonders, and I am going to keep doing this moving forward (p.s keep an eye on next week’s premium newsletter, because I will share my largest holdings and the top 5 altcoins I am am most bullish on).

But this same concept applies to so many other areas in life too. A random example: about 15 years ago I bought an expensive wallet/cardholder. It cost about $200 at the time, and definitely felt like a bit of an over the top splurge. I have used it almost every day since then, and it is still in damn near new condition.

Prior to that I was buying a new “cheap” wallet every year or two for $20-30 before it started wearing down and would need replacing.

Another area life this applies to is your relationships. I’ll take 5 close friendships over 50 acquaintence level friendships any day. Put some and effort into nurturing your relationships and prioritizing the quality of them, and every area of your life will improve.

Perhaps my favourite example of this however is when it comes to content. We are living in an again of infinite, unlimited, cheap content and dopamine. We can all have as much of anything as we want pretty much — yet so many people choose to fill their cup with extremely low value tweets, reels, shorts, tiktoks, etc. Even low value TV shows and movies.

One good book is going to add so much more to your life (and be more rewarding in the process) than 10,000 random tweets. One good 20 minute YouTube video is going to add so much more to your life (and be more rewarding in the process) than 40 garbage 30-second clips. And so on.

We’ve all heard the saying before, we’ve all probably nodded in agreement with it. But it isn’t until recently that I truly started thinking deeply about it and how much this concept applied to practically every area of life.

Food for thought!
