PANews reports on June 12th that according to an official announcement, IOST is about to launch the Signet Ring basic hardware module, integrating biometric and blockchain technologies. It provides secure, verifiable digital identity control and serves as a modular entry point into the IOST RWA ecosystem.
The ring uses an innovative "Proof of Heartbeat" technology, utilizing heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) to achieve decentralized biometric identity authentication. As a modular decentralized identity (DID) credential, it will open channels for users to access various IOST modules in the future.
Additionally, as a wearable device for daily use, the Signet Ring also features health functions such as heart rate monitoring and stress tracking, strengthening the connection between health data and secure digital access.
