SharpLink Gaming (Nasdaq: SBET), the largest publicly traded holder of Ethereum, has announced a strategic expansion of its Ethereum holdings. The company acquired an additional 12,207 ETH, valued at approximately $30.7 million, at an average price of $2,513 per ETH.
SharpLink Ethereum Treasury Expansion
According to a press release, between June 16, 2025, and June 20, SharpLink Gaming increased its Ethereum treasury by acquiring 12,207 ETH for a total cost of $30,674,829. This purchase represents the company’s ongoing strategy of building its digital asset portfolio and positioning itself as a significant player in the blockchain and crypto markets.
The latest acquisition brings SharpLink’s total ETH holdings to 188,478 ETH, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to its ETH treasury strategy.
This purchase was funded, in part, through proceeds raised via the company’s At-The-Market (ATM) facility. During the same period, SharpLink raised approximately $27.7 million in net proceeds by selling 2,547,180 shares of its common stock. The majority of the ATM proceeds will be used to further expand the company’s Ethereum treasury.
