Earlier this month, Circle Internet Financial, the issuer of USDC conducted its IPO under the New York Stock Exchange. The IPO was a massive success - it started at the initial price of $31 and closed at $82.84 on the first day, recording a gain of 167%.

As of today, CRCL stock stands at $213.63, which is 589 % from its IPO price. The effect of Circle’s success was seen across most other crypto stocks, as they recorded good gains this week. With this, retail is finally paying attention to crypto stocks.

U.S. Federal Housing Authority Adopts Crypto
The tweet signals the first substantive step by a U.S. federal housing authority toward treating crypto as legitimate collateral in mainstream consumer finance. If the forthcoming underwriting standards survive regulatory and political scrutiny, they would:
Let crypto holders unlock housing credit without liquidating positions.
Spur traditional lenders and custodians to build compliant crypto products.
Provide another data point alongside ETFs, bank custody charters, and state-level regulations, that the U.S. regulatory stance on digital assets is shifting from prohibition to integration.
This is bullish news for crypto as it broadens real-world use cases, validates the asset class, and could attract new capital into well-regulated exchanges and high-cap tokens.
The precise impact, however, depends on how strictly the final Fannie/Freddie proposals are written and how other regulators follow suit.
