White House to Release First Cryptocurrency Policy Report on July 22
According to information from Cointelegraph on July 21, the White House will officially release its first cryptocurrency policy report on July 22. This report is being prepared in accordance with Executive Order No. 14178 issued by President Trump.
This is the first time the US government has produced an official document compiling perspectives, directions, and policies related to cryptocurrency and digital assets at the White House level. The publication of this report is expected to more clearly define the role of cryptocurrency in the financial system, as well as create a legal and strategic foundation to promote innovation while protecting investors and market stability.
Previously, the US House of Representatives officially passed three important bills related to the cryptocurrency field, including: the CLARITY Act, the GENIUS Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act.
Of these, the CLARITY and Anti-CBDC Surveillance State bills will be transferred to the Senate for further review. The GENIUS Act was signed into federal law by President Donald Trump last Friday. This demonstrates the Trump administration's clear stance in promoting financial innovation while setting limits on government interference in people's financial privacy.
