Last year, after failing to apply to all seven IB schools in HK for my child, I also went through a period of self-torture and doubt. But now my mindset has calmed down. Why could I make peace with myself? Because I imagine my son becoming a male model at 20, earning 5,000 during the day as a golf coach, and then earning another 3,000 at night as a model. He could also get to know wealthy women outside his circle and help bring TVL to projects. If he goes out every day, he could earn 300,000 a month. Earning 2 million RMB a year, and then putting it into for financial management with 10% APR, he would never starve. Life is a wilderness, not a track. With an open mind, just thinking about the option of going out makes me feel no anxiety at all.

I still remember interviewing at Sishk. 200 students were divided into 20-plus groups, and the auditorium was packed. At the final round, less than ten of the 200 students applied for places. Last year, I said that getting into a good IB school in Hong Kong should be about as difficult as getting into Binance. Now that Binance has launched its alpha version, getting into a good IB school should be far more difficult than getting into Binance. 🤣
