One of the pieces I love most in the Bureau of Internet Culture collection is Tom Toro’s cartoon “Yes, the Planet Got Destroyed.”
First published in The New Yorker on November 26, 2012, the image quickly became world-famous. More than a decade later, it continues to be reshared, and BIC acquired it on August 16, 2024.
