after the GENIUS Act vote at ~2pm today, 30 hours of floor debate kicked off on stablecoins in the senate.. all day it’s been a parade of democrats criticizing the bill for enabling “trump’s crypto corruption” but this is political theater that is intentionally misleading 👇

🚨 GENIUS Act cloture successfully invoked Final vote: 68-30 vs 5/19 cloture vote: - Kim (D-GA), Hickenlooper (D-CO) flipped Y - Blunt Rochester (D-DE) flipped N - Hawley (R-MO) voted no after not voting - Blackburn (R-TN), Ossoff (D-GA) did not vote changes in red outline 👇

🚨 GENIUS Act (amended) exceeds 60 votes in US Senate this enacts cloture (prevents filibuster) on the amended version of the bill, and 30 floor hours from now (likely Monday/Tuesday), the senate can vote on final passage (with just 50+ votes required)
