As the BTC price adjustment continues, the stock price of Strategies has fallen by about 16% from the beginning of the year.
According to CoinTelegraph on the 26th, the stock price of Strategies closed at $250.51 the previous day, down 16.5% from the beginning of the year. This is due to the sharp drop in BTC prices the previous day, which fell below $90,000 for the first time in 3 months. Other companies that have adopted a similar BTC asset strategy to Strategies have also shown a downward trend in their stock prices. The stock price of Saylor Scientific, which started buying BTC since last year, has fallen more than 20% this year.
Since 2020, Strategies has invested about $33 billion (about 47.19 trillion won) raised through the issuance of stocks and convertible bonds in BTC purchases. Strategies' average BTC purchase price is $66,000, and the unrealized profit is over $10 billion. Experts analyzed that since most of Strategies' convertible bonds mature after 2027, the possibility of asset sales due to short-term BTC price declines is low. Cobeisi Letter predicted that "for Strategies to have to sell BTC, BTC prices would have to fall more than 50% from current levels and remain in a downward trend until 2027."
