According to SoSoValue data, yesterday (Eastern Time, July 28), the total net inflow of Bitcoin spot ETFs was $157 million, continuing a 3-day net inflow. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest single-day net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's IBIT, with a single-day net inflow of $147 million, and IBIT's historical total net inflow has reached $5.739 billion.

Bitcoin spot ETFs had a total net inflow of $157 million on July 28

<Mars Finance> News, on July 28, according to the latest weekly report from CoinShares, last week, digital asset investment products saw an inflow of $1.9 billion, maintaining a positive momentum for 15 consecutive weeks. This brings the month's inflow to a record $11.2 billion, far exceeding the $7.6 billion in December 2024 after the US election. Fund inflows varied across regions. The United States and Germany recorded strong inflows of $2 billion and $70 million respectively, offsetting outflows from Brazil ($23.2 million), Canada ($84.3 million), and Hong Kong ($160 million). 

Ethereum performed exceptionally well, with an unusual lead last week, attracting $1.59 billion in inflows, the second-highest weekly inflow on record. Year-to-date, Ethereum's inflows have reached $7.79 billion, surpassing last year's total annual inflow. 

In contrast, Bitcoin experienced relatively smaller outflows, totaling $175 million, showing a significant difference from the overall trend of Altcoins. Solana and XRP attracted substantial inflows of $311 million and $189 million respectively, while SUI also drew $8 million. However, apart from these cryptocurrencies, inflows for some other Altcoins rapidly decreased. Some Altcoins experienced fund outflows, including Litecoin ($1.2 million) and BCH ($660,000).

Last week, digital asset investment products had a net inflow of $1.9 billion, of which Ethereum had an inflow of $1.59 billion.

QCP Capital points out that ETH is approaching $4,000, driven by continuous net inflows in spot ETF, with seven-day capital inflows consistently surpassing <BTC>, while ETH's market value is only one-fifth of <BTC>. Despite slowing inflows for <BTC> ETF, its price remains stable, and the sale of 80,000 <BTC> last Friday was quickly absorbed. Currently, market leverage is high, with ETH and <BTC> perpetual open interest near a one-year peak, funding rates exceeding 15%, and some large investors have started to take profits and configure downside hedges.

ETH is approaching $4,000, and spot ETF funds continue to flow in more than BTC

According to BitMart's market report on July 28, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies over the past week was $3.97 trillion, an increase of 1.28% from the previous week.
