ZKP (Zero-Knowledge Proof) is a cryptographic technology that allows a prover to prove something is true to a verifier without revealing any additional information. Such technology is crucial for privacy, scalability, and cross-chain communication in blockchain applications, with use cases spanning projects like zkLogin, Worldcoin, Tornado Cash, and zkRollup.
Practice-Oriented: A One-Stop Learning Experience from Research to Product Development
The program design emphasizes "theory combined with practice," where participants will explore research-oriented (such as post-quantum cryptography, Folding) and application-oriented (such as Noir, Mopro development tools) topics during the six-week course. The program will proceed in stages:
Week 0: Prerequisite Knowledge Supply, from mathematical and cryptographic foundations to ZK tool environment configuration.
Week 1: Choose Direction, Enter from Research or Product.
Week 2: Team Formation, Project Goal and Implementation Plan.
Week 3–5: Intensive Development Interspersed with Technical Workshops.
Week 6: Results Presentation, Hackathon and Public Showcase.
ZK Education Challenges and Solutions
The ZK field currently faces three major challenges: first, the high theoretical cryptography threshold, covering advanced content like finite fields, elliptic curves, and post-quantum cryptography; second, rapidly evolving development tools with severe version divergence, such as Circom, Halo2, Noir; third, not yet widespread application scenarios, creating a communication gap between implementers and product designers.
The Core Program aims to bridge the distance between research and application through mentorship, practice-oriented training, and product-oriented workshops, enabling non-engineering background participants to collaborate with engineers to complete minimum viable products (MVPs).
